Weeds, Weeds Everywhere

So, we were at the "cottage" on the weekend, cleaning out the yards. We pulled up 9 garbage bags of weeds from the yards. It was a long day, and I am still achy. Also cleaned the windows. After cleaning the windows, a bird slammed into the two living room windows, and unfortunately, did not live to tell the tale. Maybe there was a reason they were dirty.

We also took Shamrock with us this weekend. She adapted pretty good. She didn't venture far into the back yard, which is all fenced in. She's not a very brave cat...as soon as the wind picked up, she ran back inside. She also wasn't fond of the 4am train, and slept mostly under our bed.

On the weekend, we watched a couple of movies: "Harold and Kumar Go to Whitecastle" and "Nuns on the Run".

It was a pretty cool morning today, only 5C when I went to work. It looks like we're going to get through July without hitting 30C in Calgary. No complaints here.

Yesterday we booked our shore excursions for the Alaskan Cruise part of our vacation.

Got my tickets for "Mamma Mia", playing in Calgary late September. They only had 2nd balcony seat available.

Have a great week!
